                               portrait 2 research                          John Baldessari    Throwing Three Balls in the Air to Get a Straight Line I look at John Baldessari as I was thinking about making a series about a journey and showing movement in the series, as I was still unsure of what I wanted to for my portrait series. I liked how the Orange ball contrasted with the blue sky and that you also got to see a bit of the surrounding, for example, the tree in the background. I think I would like to Capture a journey of something and maybe try and get some of that blue sky. I also like John Baldessari photomontage work and that is also something I would like to try in my work as it creates more layers and texture within an image which then creates new meaning and maybe even a journey.   Robert...
