I then looked at Olafur eliasson work called yellow versus purple which is at the tate. its an Installation Piece where a transparent yellow disc of colour-effect glass is hagging from the Ceiling and attached to a motor. and a white beam of light hits the disc creating a Circle yellow shadow which changes shape as the disc spins. the glass also reflects the light producing a purple shadow that also moves around the room creating like an Eclipse effect. viewers are able to walk though the installation so shapes and colours cover their bodies. Olafur explores the artistic and scientific characteristics of light and colour. This piece reminds me of one of my ideas the idea of mapping time with light and shadows.
