Editing time!!


As the editor it was my job to sort out the order of the objects and as i was looking at all the rushes i was think about my everyday life and what time of the day i would use these objects so i messaged the group chat a told them my idea for the lay out for the films which will help Ance and Brodie with Recording the sound. 

Order 

- jacket 
- flowers 
- tea 
- camera
- laptop
- chair
- light 
- guitar 
- shampoo
- mirror
- TV
- throw 
- books 
- moon 

After going though  the rushes and Finalising which shot would make the cut I Realise that some of the shot were to Shake so i had to use warp stabilizer to smooth it out without messing up the backgroud of the shot also I was finding it hard to use warp stabilizer as the sequence setting was different as we wanted it to be portrait so I just did it in landscape and then Exported the shake footage landscape.



After I exported the now smooth footage I then rotated the shot so that it was now portrait instead of landscape. I had chat with the group and we felt that it was to slow so we Decided to do 10 sec per object. when looking back 
Then once I had a ruff cut of all the screens I then used after effects to then edit the three screens at the same time.


while we was in the Foley recording room i showed the guys what i have done and after i exported the ruff cut and watched it back we Realise that some of them was out of sync. so annoying after i though I had 10 secs of each clip. but later that evening ances helped me Colour grade as i am not Confident on matching the colours up so I learn a lot about cuves , contrast and highlights.



Now that each object was 10sec long and that it was Colour grade i then when to sort out the zoom in on the object screen as when i did it before i didn't it too much and it crop the object so I them added new keyframes and changed the scale of the video to add the zoom in effect . after that I then added text and the time to  Symbolise the object and the landscape in Detail that you wouldn't normally Think about and the time of when you would use this objects. 
when I show the group they was happy with what I have done and added the sound and made sure that it was matched up with the Visuals. After that It was all done just need to Exported it which didn't take too long

Brain cells communicate to each other by firing off tiny chemical and electric signals and when you think of something like disappear a particular pattern of brain waves are generate and thats what the head set picks up.But the head set at the Moment is imperfect as echo of the waves. My Soundscape - NoWhere

NoWhere As I was stuck on the poem i was working on ,I was looking at other poems. I knew that i wanted some think that was dark and had fantasy creatures as am looking at artemis fowl books and at the moment i am Interested in that kind of genres. I found this poem called NoWhere By Winter https://hellopoetry.com/poem/1492718/nowhere/ . when reading this poem i had a idea of what it would sound like and i wanted to tell a story with it . -part 1 -someone sitting in a dark corner of a castle which is their mind. part 2 - the person is traped and he can't seem to get out . part 3- where they are trapped they are being tortured by there own mind  sound list  i am going to use some of the sound that i used for the first piece of text i was going to do. - walking  -creaky noise - screams  - crying  -stabing sounds - sounds of different Creatures -whispering sounds -banging sounds - Castle sounds like a door - water dripp...

Walk around Farnham

Here we went for a walk around Farnham to observe what was around us and taking photos of the area. I like this as it made me go and explore new areas that I haven't been before. I took a lot of photos in colour and Monochrome. I like how the when I took a photo of the same object or place it changed the way you viewed or felt about it. Some of the photos turned out ok and the others not so much. Here are some not so good photos that I took ….
