Evaluation





I stared this project with a very shake start not really knowing what to do for this project. I went from looking at Ben Langland's and Nikki Bell work about the air routes of the world to mapping time with light and shadows to then looking in to Objects that were abandoned on the street which I had done Previously as last year’s summer project, but I wanted to develop it and make an Installation. This is where I stay but I Calibrated with Ance ,Kylan and Brodie as we had ideas that were Similar. This was great as since I did the documentary last year I really enjoyed working as part of a team as you get to share your ideas and get feedback. I liked how if, I was unsure on something that I would always have someone there telling me their opinions on what I have done.


With this project I really like the idea of placing objects in Unusual places where they wouldn’t Usually being. This made me question the objects which is what we wanted the Audience to do and make their Own interpretation of the object And its value but, also somehow relate to them as these are Mundane objects. When it came to talk about the Exhibition we thought about creating a space Within the gallery so people could enter a space and Interact with the piece. As this is three screen two of them will be on a tv screen and the object screen will be projected in the middle. Sound will also be within that relates to the objects .


Overall I feel that we all did a good job and got the outcome that we all wanted. But I do feel that if we all Decided to collaborate Earlier that we would be able to create something better and even more of a interactive piece. But as we were running out of time this is what we came up with which is still good but I can't stop thinking about if we had more time what could we could Achieve but I am still very happy with would we have done in such short Amount of time. Also I feel that this project has made me become more Comfortable as an editor and helped me learn about using the warp Stabilizer a bit more.

- I was still think about a space that Draws you in visually (so colour and patterns) mesmerising.almost Hypnotising and then it becomes jarring or have sound that will kind of want people to leave or Vibration - I kept Experimenting with patterns and playing around with Mirroring patterns and speed. when playing around with Reversing the patterns and sound it made me think of The Beatles -When I talked with Kathleen she spoke about telepath, Zener cards and mind control  I then watched a Short documentary about how in the Future the idea of using your mind to Control things. Brain cells communicate to each other by firing off tiny chemical and electric signals and when you think of something like disappear a particular pattern of brain waves are generate and thats what the head set picks up.But the head set at the Moment is imperfect as echo of the waves. My Soundscape - NoWhere

NoWhere As I was stuck on the poem i was working on ,I was looking at other poems. I knew that i wanted some think that was dark and had fantasy creatures as am looking at artemis fowl books and at the moment i am Interested in that kind of genres. I found this poem called NoWhere By Winter https://hellopoetry.com/poem/1492718/nowhere/ . when reading this poem i had a idea of what it would sound like and i wanted to tell a story with it . -part 1 -someone sitting in a dark corner of a castle which is their mind. part 2 - the person is traped and he can't seem to get out . part 3- where they are trapped they are being tortured by there own mind  sound list  i am going to use some of the sound that i used for the first piece of text i was going to do. - walking  -creaky noise - screams  - crying  -stabing sounds - sounds of different Creatures -whispering sounds -banging sounds - Castle sounds like a door - water dripp...

Walk around Farnham

Here we went for a walk around Farnham to observe what was around us and taking photos of the area. I like this as it made me go and explore new areas that I haven't been before. I took a lot of photos in colour and Monochrome. I like how the when I took a photo of the same object or place it changed the way you viewed or felt about it. Some of the photos turned out ok and the others not so much. Here are some not so good photos that I took ….
