Maps and Networks now collaborating and pre Production

Maps and Networks 

During study week I stared to film my ideas and hope to then develop them but as I was doing them they didn't go to plan. After the study week I was talking to Ance about my ideas and how an object can change value based on its environment and looking at the history of the object. Ance was telling me how she was working with objects as well and that we could combined our ideas which i thought was a good idea as i was stuck on what to do with my ideas. 

Then after i said i would join, we ended up being a team of 4 me, Ance, Brodie and kylan we all had
ideas that was Quite similar . my idea was being how an object can change value based on its environment and looking at the history of an object. Ance’s idea being looking into people’s connections with their belongings. Kylan’s idea being an abstract portrait of home and family relationships. Brodie’s idea being an investigation between peoples relationship with installation art, specifically focusing on the projection beam and themes of escapism and freedom within westernised society.

The Main idea

thought our own Original ideas we Basically linked up an idea that would question would an objects meaning change if it was placed in an Environment that they wouldn't be see in and how the Audience can  Relates to these objects are they personal? dose it show the Mundane? dose the value of the Objects changed due to the Environment they are placed.

Here is a Rough sketch that Ance drew up of what would we will film and how it will be laid out

So for this piece we would like to have 3 screens that are all Portrait the reason we have gone for Portrait is when you view a persons picture that are Normally portraits of them also to make it Unusual for the landscape Photos to be taken in Portrait as this will add the Abstract and Unusual effect. On the right screen there will be a shot of the Surrounding areas of where the object is placed. this will be a wide shot to show the views the back group of where the objects are placed. The Screen in the middle will be a shot of the object slowly moving in on the object, and the last screen on the left will be a close up to the Surrounding areas to show in more Detail to where the object is.

Ance who took most Control over producing Arranged a meeting at a coffee where we Discussed plan Schedules and helped ance sort out the paper work such as risk Assistance and Treatments. we Manage to get most of it done as we worked together.

 

Here we made a list of objects that we was going to film and planed out what Location most of the objects would be filmed in and what Equipment needed hiring now.
